"I have Dr. Westman to thank for inspiring me to move forward"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I was a Type 2 Diabetic for more than 15 years and 75 lbs overweight. I discovered the New Atkins book in 2013 and did very well on it, but later slipped down the slippery slope of "internet keto" and all the BS that goes with it. Consequently my A1C was 6.2 in May 2022 and my weight even worse than in 2013. In March of 2022 I discovered Dr. Westman on YouTube and began to be motivated. I took the No Sugar Challenge and signed up for the cholesterol course while waiting for the next keto course to begin. I learned so much from all of these, that a new motivation grew in me to finally get it done. I started my program the first week of August. By the first week of October, my A1C came down to 5.8 and I'm off Metformin--and down 17 lbs with more progress to come. I have Dr. Westman to thank for inspiring me to move forward with Prescription Strength Keto and all that has done for my health and wellness. So simple. So direct. No slimy sales pitch, no expensive products to sell me.”

“The End Your Cholesterol Confusion course was phenomenal! I learned a ton and have implemented much of it with my own fitness clients who I coach online. The way Dr. Westman teaches is so digestible and easy to understand. I have done two of his courses so far and will do more in the future. If you want to have a clear understanding of cholesterol (and saturated fat for that matter), I HIGHLY recommend this course. Thanks Dr. Westman and AYLA. ”

"I took it to understand more about cholesterol...I learned so much!!"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I didn’t take the course to help myself lower my cholesterol. I took it to understand more about cholesterol, to enhance my training as a certified health coach— to be able to give accurate information to others. I learned so much!! It has helped my confidence in redirecting what the current misguided understanding about it is.”

Got questions? We have answers!

Who teaches the Cholesterol Course?

The video lessons are presented by Eric Westman, MD, MHS.

Who is Dr. Eric Westman?

Dr. Westman is an internationally renowned authority and educator on the science and practical applications of low-carb and ketogenic diets. For the past 20 years, his clinic at Duke University has been a sought-after destination for both patients and physicians who want to understand and implement the low-carb ketogenic diet to treat chronic illness. He is highly regarded for his research, having spearheaded some of the first clinical trials in the U.S. on low-carb eating patterns. He is an internal medicine physician and board certified in obesity medicine. He is a past president of the Obesity Medicine Association and is a New York Times best-selling author. He is the clinical director of Adapt Your Life Academy.

Dr. Westman is well-known for his research on low-carbohydrate and ketogenic diets. Is this course intended only for people who follow a low-carb diet?

Not at all. This is not a low-carb course or a keto course. It’s a cholesterol course. Dr. Westman does address cholesterol-related issues that are of unique concern to individuals following low-carb diets, but this is a very small part of the course. This course is intended to provide education about cholesterol and cardiovascular disease to anyone, regardless of the type of diet they follow.

Can I take the class if I’m already taking cholesterol medication?

Yes, most definitely. This course will deepen your understanding of cholesterol and cardiovascular disease so that you can be proactive and take steps to improve your risk for cardiovascular disease whether or not you’re already taking medication.

I don’t want to take a statin. Will the course help me have a meaningful discussion with my doctor about my heart health?

Yes! There’s an entire lesson dedicated to this specific issue. After taking the course, you’ll feel empowered to have an informed and respectful conversation with your doctor so you can work together to create a path forward that you’re comfortable with. (And for medical professionals, this lesson may help facilitate more fruitful discussions with your patients.)

Will I get the chance to ask Dr. Westman a question about my medical condition?

Dr. Westman cannot provide individualized medical advice. You are encouraged to work with your own physician, with whom you have an established doctor-patient relationship.

I’m not tech-savvy. Is the course easy to navigate inside the student portal?

Yes! We know that the “tech” can feel a bit intimidating, but rest assured, it’s very simple. We want all of our students to have a seamless experience, so if you run into any difficulty, simply send us an email, and our tech support team will be happy to assist you.

What’s the price for the End Your Cholesterol Confusion course?

The course is $167. This is an incredible value for the wealth of information you’ll receive from a leading expert in nutrition and metabolism - remember, there are 15 video lessons plus summary handbooks for each module, as well as several downloadable resources with additional information.

Is End Your Cholesterol Confusion a subscription service?

No. You’ll have access to the full course and materials for a one-time fee of $167.

How long will I have access to the course?

Good news: the lesson handbooks, video transcripts, and all other written content in your student portal are yours to keep permanently. You can download it and save it, and even print it out if you prefer to have hard copies. You will not be able to download and save the videos, but you can save the transcripts and log in to your student portal and watch the videos as many times as you like.

Why would I pay for a course on cholesterol when there’s FREE information on the internet?

There’s free information readily available on the internet - a lot of it. However, much of what you’ll find is conflicting and confusing, not to mention scientifically inaccurate. The End Your Cholesterol Confusion course is led by Dr. Eric Westman, who has been treating patients in a university-based clinic for over twenty years. His approach to patient care and educating the public is firmly rooted in sound science and clinical research. He does not engage in sensationalism, alarmism, or fearmongering. End Your Cholesterol Confusion is grounded in facts, not fantasy.

When does the course start?

Once you purchase the course, you’ll have immediate access to your student portal, and you can begin watching the video lessons as soon as you wish. The lessons are entirely self-paced, so you can go through them as quickly or as slowly as you like and watch the videos as many times as you wish.

Is this course intended for the general public, or is it also appropriate for medical and nutrition professionals?

End Your Cholesterol Confusion is suitable for laypeople and professionals alike. The course presents high-level science and physiology in a down-to-earth manner that delivers actionable education and information for both patients and providers.
